Facilitating co-created public art projects for meaningful placemaking experiences.

With over 5 years experience designing and facilitating group workshops for large scale public murals, I have co-created meaningful placemaking experiences with all ages, raging from 3+ preschool, through K-12, adults, seniors, First Nations and differently abled.

My background in Graphic Design, Fine Art and Sign Writing, plus a deep passion for psychology and self care results in a unique approach to co-designing artworks and co-creating the end result. I approach each community group as a new client, bringing them in (no matter what the age) into the design process.

Each project is site specific, and designed to be meaningful as a community development

Testimonials

"Assisting Bohie for the Queanbeyan Youth Mural was an incredible learning experience. Bohie mentored me in a way that was direct, informative and friendly whilst making me feel confident in my ability to rise to the challenge. She created a safe space for me to ask questions and provided clarity with anything I was unsure about.

I found Bohie to be an amazing teacher who had a genuine desire to get to know me and my skills just as much as she was willing to share her own practice.

I found the entire experience engaging, fun and am so pleased to have had the opportunity to learn from a professional street artist."

- Mimi Fairall, Canberra Street Artist Mentee

We loved every minute of it.”

Harrison school has had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with Bohie on multiple street art projects since 2021. Harrison’s approach of aligning art and art workshops with a broader positive approach to student mental health has allowed Bohie to mentor, influence and guide young people through art projects and having a positive impact on their mental health.

Bohie is a personable, compassionate and positive person who brings the best out of young people to help them be the best version of themselves both at school and in society.”
